A Wisdom That Lasts

I’ve just finished reading Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. It surprises me that the book was written in 1934. That’s 75 years ago. Apparently, as opposed to business, psychology is an area where theories last longer.

This book offer still-very-relevant theories on how to make the best out of a human interaction, in a positive sense that is. At the end of the day, I think the key word that Mr. Dale’s trying to convey is “empathy”.

Evidently, “empathy” is an underrated quality in working environment. I believe that anyone who’s mastered it well, will go a long long way. Try it.
